Drama and feelings of a father and a teacher

Don Juan Merino (Aldo Fabrizi) , is a school teacher in a small village of Galicia, he is widowed and has a son "Antonio" of eight years. "Don Juan" decides to request transfer to a big city, and take the train to Madrid where he hoped a new order in the College "Santa Maria". In the capital hopes to better opportunities to his son.
